With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life's most significant challenges and transitions. Currently, I work as a psychotherapist specializing in maternal mental health and couples therapy, assisting new parents as they navigate postpartum life and helping couples strengthen their relationships. In addition to my private practice work, I also enjoy teaching as an Adjunct Professor, where I share my passion for my work with future professionals.
After many years in Southern California, I recently relocated back to my hometown of Pittsburgh to be closer to my family. This move has provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with my roots while continuing the work I love.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work in diverse settings that have shaped my identity as a clinician. I have developed postpartum support programs at Kaiser Permanente, assisted families navigating end-of-life care in hospice, supported survivors of sexual assault at UCLA Medical Center, and managed trauma-informed housing programs for veterans. Each of these experiences has reinforced my belief that healing and growth are achievable when individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Penn West University and my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State. Along this journey, I have received honors such as a Los Angeles Mayoral Commendation and the VA Shining Star Award for Social Work. More than anything, I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with clients and students in a genuine, compassionate manner, weaving together clinical expertise with warmth, authenticity, and practical experience.
